Ticket Information: Four chefs. Four styles. One cuisine. At this friendly face-off, each chef defends his vision of Mexican cooking. Includes food, beverages, cooking demonstrations, tastings of tequila, wines and more!

Location: Topolobampo | 445 N. Clark Street, Chicago
Price: $195/per person 

Ticket Information: This ticket includes  a five-course, Mod Mex dinner at Topolobampo hosted by Chef Rick Bayless featuring chefs Javier Plascencia, José Ramón Castillo, Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark, along with cocktail offerings by Mixologists Jay Schroeder, Eryn Reece and Erick Rodríguez.



MOD MEX & MOD MIX: THE MEAL + VIp Reception

Time: 5 p.m. reception, 6 p.m. dinner

Location: Topolobampo | 445 N. Clark Street, Chicago
Price: $275/per person 

Ticket Information: This ticket includes a one hour VIP reception in the test kitchen featuring a cooking demonstration with Chef Rick Bayless. In addition, guest will enjoy a five-course, Mod Mex dinner at Topolobampo hosted by Chef Rick Bayless featuring chefs Javier Plascencia, José Ramón Castillo, Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark and cocktail pairings by Mixologists Jay Schroeder, Eryn Reece and Erick Rodríguez.

Charity:

Proceeds from Mod Mex & Mod Mix benefit students studying culinary arts at Kendall College through two reputable organizations. The full-tuition Frontera Scholarship has been offered to Mexican-American students through the Kendall College Trust in partnership with Rick Bayless since 2007. The Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Scholarship Program has awarded almost $2.5 million in scholarships to deserving students pursuing Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management in college. The IRA Educational Foundation works to build the future Illinois hospitality workforce through scholarships, career exploration and workforce development programs for high school students.
